My Viper started its life with me as a salvage car that I found on the internet. Confident that I could get her back on the road, I bought the car back in 2007 for $18,000. This Viper had hit a stopsign and damaged the front fascia, fiberglass reinforcement, hood, A/C condenser, and radiator along with a host of other small parts. I secured replacement parts through various aftermarket Viper suppliers and got the car back on the road again in spring of 2008.
After the car was road-worthy, I elected to change the color from the stock Viper yellow to Dodge's Sunburst Orange. I really love this shade of color, as it is completely understated when the sun is not shining on it directly, appearing to be a dark copper color. When the sunlight hits it, however, the paint explodes into gold highlights and looks awesome without being gaudy.
