So I found this Craigslist ad for an 87 635csi for $500 and I think, maybe I'll hit the lottery again. I did with my $500 528e. At the very least, it has really nice rims. I could get the car, swap the Throwing Stars for my Bottlecaps and resell the car. Well it didn't quite work out that way. The car has a myriad of ills but the motor runs pretty good. The seats are also in pretty good shape. But my wife, having just lost her Fiero to her kid, decided if I could fix it, she'd drive it. And no, I don't get to swap the wheels! So I've spent the last several weekends cleaning and tinkering. No registration yet so I can't drive it but I know there are a couple more issues. We'll see how things go.
