                      So this is my baby. My turboed baby lol. 1990 Dodge Daytona ES 2.5 turbo. My husband got me into cars when I met him. He's a huge mopar fan, but appreciates a fine body haha. We have many projects going right now, this 1990 daytona, a 83 turbo z daytona, and a 2004 dodge stratus RT.

                                This is her orginal paint job, but Im saving to paint her slate grey.

So this is basically all I have done to the Tona:

- She has a 2 1/2 inch  turboback exhaust

- Mopar performance stage 1 computer

-lowered

-custom intake

-modified Ecplise GSx blow off valve

-Custom front mount intercooler made by my boyfriends friend (however its not on yet)

 

 

COMING SOON:

-shelby tranny with shift cables and shifter. (clutch and tranny went out in mine)

-stage 2 clutch from turbos unleashed

Heheh.. my boyfriends' IROC (not sure if you've seen in on here) was lowered the wrong way and always bottoms out. It's so frustrating, you have to be so careful driving that thing. I think it's as low as your Tona.. could be a bit more though.

Hahah awe man that sucks. I remember my Turbo Z had like.. 5% clutch once, but that's nothing to it screwing up the tranny. I also remember that putting in the cables for the shifter were sort of frustrating.. but that could have just been me. I hope everything goes well for you! These cars can be really frustrating sometimes to work on. My Turbo Z is just.. I don't even know how to describe that car right now hahah. Good luck with yours though, keep me updated :)

Nice Daytona. Definitely a fast car stock. Pretty rare, too. Are you planning on doing anymore mods to the engine, or just keeping it stock for now?
