It's not official yet but I made an offer on this lovely but battered little truck. I must be some kinda wierdo cos There I am in my '67 S Class Benz having the window motors and switch gear revived when the Auto Electrician with a lovely Red Toyota classic truck ( see pic 2)

(Pic 1 as at 26 August 2009)        tells me he has an old Datsun over at his brothers shop going cheap (no specified price.. very thai style!) so off I trot for a little look see...

Here she is... busted up a bit. Sloppiest gear lever I ever touched. but runs just fine and had BAGS of potential to be a cool old school "ute". Agreat compliment to the Stable.

So I'll go back in a couple of days and see if my offer is accepted.. hope this is the beginning of another love affair. I love having an alternative ride. Makes me appreciate the other ride when I get back in... I'm just a sucker, I know.

But when you have this kind of inspiration... how do you stop yourself?
