My 1999 Saab 9-3

It all started back In february of 2009 when i bought My 1999 Saab 9-3 as a cheap salvage titled car, little did i know that this beater to get me through highschool would turn in to an obsession.

Sadly, as quickly as it began it would end. 2 weeks ago the transmission blew and i dont have the time or money to repair it. Just too much stuff was wrong with her chassis, She will forever be remembered, RIP Sabby 1999-2009

Ok that's what I thought. I took a black one for a test drive on my car just to see if my red one was faulty and didn't have a problem with it but there's a lot of debate on how safe it is. I think it was just found that the knock sensitivity is a little higher on the red one. I'd guess that if your car is running okay otherwise, it shouldn't be a problem. Keep up the good work.

Hey, great looking 9-3. Just wondering, though. Did you paint your DIC black? If yours is really a '99, you should be using a red DIC. Black ones are only for '00-'02 9-3's, with T7 engine management.
