This is my 1989 Acura Integra LS. I've had it since about March of 09. so far i've done a few things to it. Sound system for a start. Intake, and Cat-back exahust. I plan to do an engine swap, using the same engine, only built up (D16A1 w/ forged internals, etc.) and throw on a T3/T4 turbo to boost about 12 pounds.

I have two- 6.5" 3-way speakers in the front doors (modified fit), and two- 4" 2-way speakers in the back deck lid. I have a 1-Farad Raptor Capacitor, a 300 Watt/2 Channel JL Audio Amp that is all together hooked up to two 12" JL Audio Subs in a ported box. I plan to do a little more subwoofer and speaker work including satalite style speakers and possibly more powerful subs. My head unit is a sony Xplod CDX-GT610Ui w/ direct iPod Control. This is the only image i can put up about the sound system. More are to come, I just need a little more time to take the pictures.Steelermike27's 1989 Acura Integra

My engine is a stock D16A1 engine. All i plan for this engine is intake, exhaust, tune-ups and maintenance, and just drive it into the ground. At the same time, i plan to buy a Brand-new or just broken-in D16A1 engine, build it up in my garage, and buy a t3/t4 turbo and boost it up to 9 or 12 pounds for daily driving. The build up process includes forged pistons, forged cams and crank, titanium valve springs, HKS Gaskets all around, and lower compression piston rings to optimize the efficiency of the turbo. Just waiting for the money to start gettin saved. But so far, I already have the intake and Cat-Back (Pace Setter brand) exhaust.

^My Cold Air intake... a temp solution until i can get the money to buy a Weapon-R intake

This is my Pace Setter brand Cat-Back exhaust off the car, it's on the car now. pics to come soon.

My idea is to keep the car as sleeper as possible. With the exception of the exhaust system and the sound system. But i'm not focused ont he rims or body kit, or anything like that. Here are some more pictures of the car. More pictures will come in as i get the time and as things are added.Steelermike27's 1989 Acura IntegraSteelermike27's 1989 Acura Integra

The body and the paint looks good. Good job on the system. I would try to swap an integra b18 into it. I have a b18a1 non-vtec and it's a monster. I have plans to buy another b18 and have it over bore to a 2.0 and install all the good stuff (pistons, cam, port and polish) ect. I would look into it. 5 stars for building the first gen Integra up ! I love these cars...
