My name is Larry and this is my 1987 Z28. I bought it in 1990 with 51,000 miles on the clock and proceeded to run it up to nearly 190K before the old 5.0 TPI (rpo LB9) started seriously losing oil pressure. So, since friends don't let friends build 305's, I decided to do the EFI 383, described on page 2. I decided to stay with EFI because, well, I just don't like carbs, both under my hood and in my diet:)) No offense to carburetor fans. This car is not an IROC, but a Z28. Many people refer to these cars generically as IROCs but this is just a plain Z28 to which I added the cowl induction hood, F40 spoiler in back and the IROC wheels. I am in the process of a major renaissance on the beast and I'll try to explain that on page 2. I'm doing as much of the work as I can myself so there will be a learning curve. It will be a lot of work, a lot of fabbing & cussing, but if you only knew how many years I've been "meaning to get to it" you'd know that a couple more wouldn't matter. Check out the back story and all the plans on page 2. Thanks......
