Well, I managed to finally get rid of my old '50 Chevy 2-door project!  I traded it to a guy for this...a 1948 IHC KB-2 pickup!  As of now it's non-running, but the old bugger was so complete and original, and really in pretty decent shape, so for $1100 and my old Chevy I couldnt pass it up.  The truck originally belonged to an overhead door service company here in town, and somehow ended up on a ranch north of Billings.  It was bought about a year ago by the fella I bought it from and he has more projects than he can handle, so he had to let something go.

Plans for now are to get the original flathead I-6 running and drive the damn thing around for awhile.  I'm still working on my '79 Camaro and we are at this moment working on a deal for a super clean '68 Camaro driver.  I'll certainly post that car here if we end up with it.

Long term I want to completely overhaul the old truck, stuffing an SBC between the rails, but do the whole thing in a very retro-rod style...I'm thinking black body, red steelies with chrome baby moons, and lots of original parts.  And a good rake would look great too.
