Overview

Hello there!! Thanks for visiting my profile.

Here`s my sweet ride - 1968 Ford Torino 2dr hardtop (65C code car / bench seat). It is powered by a #s matching 289 2bbl (now 4bbl) V8 mated to a C4 auto trannsmission. I bought it in my homecountry (Poland) in March 2009. It was already restored by a previous owner. He did a "tough" work - body work, paint, etc. However, a whole undecarriage was left untouched, as it was in good condition (it is a CA car - there was NO rust before restoration).

However, it is slightly souped up: 4bbl Edelbrock carb. (550cfm), Edelbrock intake, air cleaner and valve covers. Plus it has a new MSD distributor and hardened valve seats. All other stuff is stock.

Still, my ride needs a little work in the engine compartment: I need to install washer resevoir plus washer motor and do some detailing. For more "serious things, which must be done" see another page.

By the end of this year I`m planning on adding more horses by installing true dual exhausts, aggressive camshaft, heads and others. Anyway, I came up with my "performance-buy list" - see page 3 for more details.

This is me and my car:

Anyway this car originally came with: power steering, power front disc brakes, tinted glass, A/C, white sidewall tires. It was painted with Lime Gold Paint.

I also have a Marti report on my car :)

Have you sarted to dig into the 351? I really think you should go with it. But keep the 289 around in case you need it. Save up your money you want tospend and then save about half that for emergency money. Just incase you need to re-buy something. Like the name of my truck, cars are "never finished". But the inportant thing is to have fun with it.

Hello, 5 stars! The stance and rims make this one of the best 68' Torinos I've seen. Take care, Jeff
