Although I've tried my best to keep my 2001 Audi A4 1.8T quattro looking as factory stock and stealthy as possible - it is set up for autocrossing purposes. In fact, it hasn't been beaten at an AutoX by an Audi S4 of any kind in over two years, and there have been plenty who have tried, but end up scratching their heads about why an A4 runs faster. I always welcome shotgun rides to show them why. It runs in 30+ autocrosses annually... so obviously I'm addicted to autocross competition.

Engine/Drivetrain
- Original factory turbo with 146k miles and counting (knock on something)
- Garrett Tuning (GIAC X-chip) performance chip
- Evolution Racewerks 3" to 2.5" down pipe leading to:
- Techtonics Tuning 2.5" flex pipe mated to Neuspeed exhaust system - sounds really good!
- ITG (Induction Technology Group) drop-in air filter inside modified factory air box
- Forge Motorsport 007 diverter valve
- South Bend Stage 3 clutch - cryogenically treated
- Unorthadox Racing single mass light weight flywheel - cryogenically treated
- PureMS snub mount

Suspension
- StartupRacing.com GT (Gran Turismo) coilovers - totally awesome handling characteristics!
...coilovers made in Germany with specific valving for higher rate Vogtland springs
- Hotchkis H-Sport anti-sway bars - thickest available

Wheels/Tires
Summer/Racing:
- 17 inch O.Z. Racing Ultraleggera bright silver rims (only 16.7 lbs. each!)
- 235/45-17 Dunlop Direzza Z1 Star Spec tires tucked under rolled fenders
- Update Aug./09: wore out the Star Specs, so now running the new Hankook Ventus R-S3 tires
Winter:
- 15 inch Borbet Type-E rims (5) with 205/60-15 General Altimax HP all-season tires
Racing only:
- Factory 17 inch RS4 rims (5) mounted with Hankook Ventus Z214 C70 R-compound race rubber

Brakes
- Slotted/drilled front brake rotors
- Hawk HPS pads - serious stopping power without ruining your rims
- Stainless steel braided brake lines

Interior
- Factory three spoke Sport steering wheel
- B&M short throw shifter
- Color coordinated electronic Prosport boost gauge mounted on steering column
- Red four point racing harness - driver's side

Exterior
- Genuine Audi RS4 grille
- Rolled fenders to accomodate wider tires at lower ride height

Maintenance
- Castrol synthetic fluids ...Think with your Dipstick, Jimmy!!!
