This is my 1996 993 GT2 Evo road race car.
It is a 3.8 Liter Twin Turbo endurance car wirth airjacks, cockpit adjustable swaybars, full data acquisition...
It has a spool (no diff) so I have to drive it like my shifter kart :-)
A lot of fun.

A spool is in place of a differential. It is where both wheels are locked together like a shifter kart. Both wheels always turn at the exact same speed. That means that I use the throttle to rotate the car. It causes corner entry understeer but a lot of stability under hard acceleration and braking. Airjacks are for endurance racing. When I come into the pits we put a nitrogen wand on th efitting and the car pops up in the air to change the tires. My car requires 400 psi to lift. Download this video which has dta acquisition so you can see the speeds, rpm & g-force. This is during a race at Sebring FL. You will hear all the throttle input needed to roate the car in the turns... Make sure to download the vid to your harddrive then play it as it is not setup for streaming... http://www.trackvision.net//gallery/goldrich_sebring.wmv
