first of all, get some body work, head+tail lights & rims/215 tires ;) .... maybe a diff color. I cherry red or a metallic Red... then move onto performance mods. all work overtime :O come check out my whip!

Dave, nice Sunbird! There is a lot that you can do to them as long as $ aren't an issue. I'm guessing it either has the 2.8 V6 or the 3.1, you have many options here, one is to soup up the existing engine, and swap in a manual transmission (Getrag GM-282 or GM-284)or swap the engine for a 3400 (3.4) out of the 99-05 Grand Am, 2000-2004 Chevrolet Monte Carlo LS,base model Impalas, and pair that engine with either of the transmissions I listed or the 4t45e that is in the Grand Am GT, the 4t65e-HD from the 97-up Grand Prix GTPs are a stout transmission as well. Engine and transmission swaps are expensive, but I think IF you are going to keep this car then it would be worthwhile, if I had your car I would go for the 3400 w/ the 4t45e along with some goodies from the folowing or who I've personally dealt with and they are great. There are also forums on each of the websites that are very informative and helpful. On the exterior of your car I would go for a 91 Cavalier Z24 Factory Ground Effects package w/ Black on top Silver on the bottom two-tone, I think that would look awesome w/ some 17" Black w/ chrome lip rims. Definatly a 5* ride! Keep up the good work and check out my 03' 30th Anniversary Edition Pontiac Grand Am GT1 Sedan w/ the SC/T package and let me know what you think. Brian
