This was my first vehicle. The cab is a '72 model, the front fenders, hood grille bumper etc. is from a '68. The bed and back half of the frame is from a '88 stepside. A 454 provides the power. Where to start... well, shaved handles, drip rails, tailgate handles and post holes. Custom roll pan. Put in the aluminum fuel cell. Filled in the original fuel doors that were just behind the door on the cab, and just in front of the rear wheel on the bed. Had to lose the antenna that someone had tried to french into the old fuel door on the cab. Freshened up the interior. Found some wheels in a junk yard for $50. Filled in the side marker lights on the front fenders. Finally sprayed the paint. Mixed a custom red starting with a factory dodge color. The silver is Dodge Viper silver metallic. Took it on the Hot Rod Magazine power tour in 2003. Blew the motor the next year... still havent gotten around to fixing it. One day. One day.
