Hi there!  This page is to show what my van looked like when I first bought it back in July 2009, and the steps I took getting to the finished product.

Here is what I started with!






Then I got the rust all fixed on the sides and doors.


I restored the headlights with a kit, and got a Rain-X wiper for the back window which I love.


I removed the luggage rack and the side trims.


Painted the back lenses...


Attaching the cubes...





And the painting began late November 2009... masking first...




Primer then green half painted...


Then yellow half and the hand painted shell pattern...


Shaving the hood ornament...


Patching bug flector holes...


Painted wiper arm in back...


Attaching wing and guns...

Painting the graphics by hand begins... I used a combination of spray cans, frisket film and masking tape, and hand brush painting.


I started with the first the one on the hood...

Next is the bumper teeth!






Thought about it and decided to do the yellow/green curves.


  There we go.


Now the Party Time graphic (my favorite!)







Now the other side for the Foot Stinks one...





Next is Boot the Foot!  I'm sad about how small it had to be to fit, but what can you do?







Now the graphic on the back that I originally wasn't going to put on here (people who know what it is can guess why!)  But I decided to put it on anyway.  It took me the longest time to do.
