Ok so there has been a LOT done since the last update. I've decided to no longer focus on off road protection and convert the car into a full blown race setup. I've stripped off a lot of weight, and the goal is to get it under 2800-2700 lbs. The interior has been stripped out, and will be replaced with racing seats. I removed the stereo, and replaced it with a carbon fiber switch panel. I have removed all of the USDM crash BS that goes on the car-- U-brace, front and back bumper beam, seat belts, airbags, etc. This car is going to be a track car only now so she's getting stripped. I've also added a Coolingmist methanol injection kit, competition stage 2 clutch and light flywheel, perrin light crank pulley, unorthodox racing power steering - alternator pulleys. The drive shaft will also be changed out to a lightweight aluminum from Driveshaft shop. This car will be one of the lightest scoobs out there, and should be around 400-500 awhp when all is said and done, tuned to about 22-24 PSI. I've got an appointment to get tuned over Christmas break, hopefully I can get everything done in time. Tick tock tick tock, see page six for the lastest updates.
