I bought this car about 5 years ago with the dream restoring it to my taste. I drove it as it was for about 6 months before the old 1600 started blowing smoke.
He spent about 3 years sitting in storage waiting income and enthusiasm.
Over the last 18 months or so I have been slowly getting into it. The goal is to have it completed by Christmas 2010. Fingers crossed, lol

Started stripping and preparing for paint.
Removing front guard mounted indicators and fitting mirrors.
Battery tray removed for a smoother engine bay.
Paint getting there. The weird old guy was the workshop landlord, not me, lol
Shed rental was getting too expensive so the coupe came home. I got these GH Sigma front struts converted to coil overs to run bigger wheels and brakes.
Okay, well it is on the road and running really well and it is pretty quick. Still need to replace the front guards and I also have a mint bonnet that will get replaced before Christmas.
