Here is the start to what will be one sweet 71 2wd blazer!

The plans are for this to 4 linked and air bagged running a build 454 & 700R4 combo im going to try and get this blazer to site on 24" rims and fully tuck them but we will see and i wont to retain the back seat. Im starting out with 1972 4 wheel drive frame that im going to put a 1985 2wd chevy pickup suspension under.

A little history about this project

This is the 3rd blazer body i have bought for this project the first two had some very bad hidden rust i have drove by this body sitting on the side of the road for about a year and half and just thought it was just a wrecked body probly full of rust but one day i had a itch to just take a look at it and it has to be one the most rust free body i have seen in years and it has not had any replacment panels put in it so i knocked on the door and no answer so i left a note with my info on the door and no reply i went over there 2 more times and nobody home and the note was still on the door. And then one day i was searching the local classifieds and there it was for $150 bucks i called the guy and went and got for $100 bucks it turned out that no one live at the house where it was and it was wrecked in 1994 by the last owner and he had held on to for 15 years with plans or restoring it im glade he did and that he just did not scrap it. So the project finally begins.

Judging from all of the other things you've built-this is going to be one awesome truck!
