Howdy to all my fellow VAN lovers!
I've always liked the looks of these "shorty" (110" Wheelbase) vans.
I started looking for something to make Lumber yard, Nursery and Home Depot runs after we bought a 2nd fixer home last year. I was really very surprised to find out how hard it was to find these Vans in almost any kind
of condition. Maybe I'm alone on this but I was surprised that they weren't more popular. I remember them were all over the place in the 1970-80's.

I found this 1995 (the last year of production) van for cheap on Craigslist and scooped it up. I had been looking for an early 1970's model but no luck. The good news for me is that as a "driver" safety and comfort it has disc brakes, ABS, Air Bag, Fuel injection and cold A/C. I've spent the last year trying get everything upgraded or repaired. I like everything to work and drive like new..juts a few things left to do over time.
Here are links to two short videos of the van with sound from the new Hooker Aero Chamber muffler.

fundrive69,Thanks for the offer. I'm looking for something earlier...1971 preferably. 1977 and newer California vehicles must pass a smog certificate test to renew your registration. With an earlieryear I can run any engine, headers etc. that I want.Good luck!
