I couldn't help myself and had to decode the VIN on the rusty Rogue. It's a Kenosha-built '66 Rogue, 290 2-barrel, 4-speed with console! :( :( :( Only thing missing was a four-barrel carb, but that is easily fixed. Shame, shame, shame...

Just noticed those pics of the '66 'Rogue'. :( Looks like an original V8 car with the nice two-tone scheme and everything. Sad to see what was once a very nice car turning to dust.

OK... I'm a bit concerned about the Star Wars thing and the bright yellow engine, but that's a GREAT looking wagon. I wonder if I could talk my wife into one of those for a 'family wagon'? :) We didn't get the wagons down here in Oz, but I do know a guy that has one, although I don't believe it's on the road. Did you you notice that although my car is a '67, it has a similar dashboard to your car, except for the RHD thing. The seats and trim are completely different though as I believe they were sourced here in Australia during assembly. Keep up the great AMC work. :)
