Original gray thread was replaced with orange thread. Gray seat belts were swapped out with orange ones.
Rear seats also got orange thread.
Dashboard was rewrapped in Porsche leather and Alcantara suede. So was the steering wheel.
Portions of the center console also got Alcantara along with carbon fiber.
Another 996. Gray Porsche leather along with dark gray Alcantara suede was used with a contrast orange thread. The front and rear seats and dashboard received the orange thread, will the door panels, gauge cluster shroud, steering wheel, visors, pillars, center console, shift boot, rear quarter panels and rear deck got the Alcantara treatment with orange thread.
The rear deck had a stock subwoofer box from Bose which was carpeted. The only way suede was going to sit nicely on the box was to remove the carpet. Believe you me, easier said than done.
Can't help but love working on such a vehicle.
