After moving to alaska I had to sell my CJ7 that I have posted on here. I'm also in the middle of trying to sell my

subaru (also posted on here). After about 2 months here I bought this 09' Wrangler X at the local dealer.

Fresh from the dealership it had 31 miles. Only took about an hour (the time to drive back to base) to get her dirty.

We actually found a spot to get on top of this hill but thought it might be a bit too much for a stock jeep.

A nice little trail I found that leads to the ski hill on base.

For stock the newer jeeps already have some decent size tires. I'm still surprised at how much bigger the JK wranglers are when I'm next to an older CJ or wrangler. Plus being 5.5 inches wider than the older jeeps it's extremely stable off and on road.

As for tires, I'm really liking the Cooper Discoverer STT's. One of our patrol trucks at work has them and I love the grip off road and they're still highway friendly.

I would like to get a long arm suspension but due to finances and basic practicality (I mainly mud and trail ride, I don't need a whole lot of flex) I might just stick with a nice 4" coil kit.

Next summer I'll have a place to store the top and doors so I'm getting accessory mirrors and some tube doors. I'll also be getting flat style fenders for additional tire clearance and aesthetic value.

Performance wise, I would like a snorkel (increased cold air flow and precaution for those deep spots), MBRP Exhaust (stronger than the stock one and more agressive sound), and a Hypertech Max energy programmer.

Overall, I've got a lot of plans for her but the money doesn't always catch up with the plans...lol

Actually Fireant, That amp I have does fit perfectly. Itr is a standard height amp, but a bit narrower and longer. It is a 5 channel, so if you do not need a tons of bass, it works great. I am currently using a pair of PPI Prototype 8" subs and it is the best I have played with so far. Sound slike a pair of 12" and I only have 340 watts on the sub channel. Does the 2-door model have the storage tray in back?
