History
This 81 corolla sr-5 was originally owned by my mom so it has all the documents from 1981-present, it was stored in 1998 until i took it out in 2007 to try to revive the rolla so i could drive it as my first car. It took some work but like a typical toyota it started right up. It is a 5-speed manual with 340,000 original km's, the engine has never been rebuilt and still runs strong. Throughout the restoration i replaced some broken lights, new starter, new weber 32-36 carb, fixed leaky trunk, new spark plugs, new thermostat, did a cheap rust removal/paint, replaced turn signal and horn section of steering column, new master cylinder. My future plans would be to upgrade/lower suspension a small amount add some bigger/wider wheels and low profile tires, upgrade stereo, reupolster seats, rebuild engine with some performance parts, add header and exhaust, paint job and body work. Basically just make it a fun to drive second car that is rare and has some personality.
