I have put a lot of time and money into my Audio/Video system and is one of my favorite parts of my car. I have upgraded a lot since I last took these pictures, but here is my previous setup.
This is my new in dash screen, it's got touch screen, DVD, MP3 and some other cool stuff, its the Pioneer AVH-P6600DVD, below i have some pics of my last screen that i had.
As for the brains of the entire system is a Pioneer AVH-P6400CD. It is a motorized 6.5 inch widescreen monitor head unit. The PS2 is then hooked up to it using Monster cables. I have moved the PS2 and hid all the wires after I took the pictures. I also have added a Panasonic DVD player.
This is my remote bass knob for easy access to maximum bass, very stealthy.
Speakers
These are the Lightning Audio Bolt B1.65.2 2-way I installed them in the front doors and they gave me clearer better sound over the stock speakers.
Since those I have added Alpine Type R mid ranges, with Kicker crossovers going to the Kicker tweeters custom mounted in the door.
These are the Pioneer TS-A6870R 3-way speakers I installed them into the rear pillars and they are great, with the 3-way speakers there is the built in tweeter to be able to hear a clear distinction between singing and the music.
Subs
This is my S12L7 Sub, this is the only pic i have now, need to take more pics with the trunk cleaned up. Running off the kx600.1 on top of the box. I left pics below of my old systems. No longer in my car.
2-12� Sony XS-L121P5 Subwoofers. They are 4 ohms and I wired them in parallel to a 2 ohm load. I upgraded to a S12L74 in a Kicker ported box made for the sub.
My newly installed capacitor, i also moved the amp to on top of the box. The cap is a .5 farad, Audiobahn with digital voltage monitor. I have since removed this capacitor.
Amp
This the Sony XM-D500X that is powers the subs. It is a Mono amp with 250 RMS @ 4 ohms and 500 RMS @ 2 ohms. It pushes my subs very well and has a very good frequency response.
I upgraded to a KX600.1 that according to the birth sheet puts out 740 watts RMS at 2 ohms
I have also got a KX350.4 birthed at 398 watts for the speakers.
Old CD player
This is the old head unit I had, a Pioneer deh-p2600cd, it was good for the price but it had limited capabilities.
This is my 2 way LCD pager remote for my Security/ remote start, very cool, its a python 881xp. And i also bought the modules to make my windows automatic and they can be controlled by the LCD remote.
