angelsfan1984's 2001 Audi A4alright so the soundangelsfan1984's 2001 Audi A4system mods are done for now. here is what i've done:

HU pioneer DEH 5100ub

front door panel 4' polk audio db speakers 45w rms 135w peak easy to install some modifications needed (fabricate a bracket).

left the stock tweeters in place.

rear deck 6.5' alpine type-r 100w rms 300w peak also easy to do you could buy speaker brackt from metra or scoshe

dual 10' ported sub box

2 10' alpine type-r configured @ 1ohm 500w rms @ 4ohm 1500w peak make sure amp is 1ohm stable. these subs are dual voice coil, gives you lots of config options.

1- 4ch amp Crunch p1400.4 175wx4 @ 4ohm (this amp gets really hot sooooooooo will be looking for replacement)

1- mono amp hifonics bxi1200d 450w @4ohm 900w @2ohm and 1200w @1ohm this amp so far is 1ohm stable does not get hot and i truly recommend it.

2.0 farad capacitor from massive audio. easy to install must be charged first!!! use the resistor and a multimeter charges within seconds.

4 gauge monster cable with multi connector and rest of amp kit. pictures will be posted shortly. I honestly had trouble, had to go through the ecu box didnt want to but had no choice at the time... use the opposite side panel for signal cables for no noise interruption.

this install was done by me so im very excited and just want to show it off. also the wattage shown above is subject to voltage @ 14.4v when my car is on im @ 13.8v. and when car is not on 12v.

I do consider myself an amateur at car audio but please if you need advice just ask my trunk aint fancy looking but i guaranty you my system bumps loud and clean... im not into video or i'd put the shit in so up next is the apr chip, intake and exhaust. stay tuned

Thanks, very nice Audi. I've got the 250.2 Rockford Fosgate AMP w/ the 12" Alpine SWE-43 And Alpine SPS 6" in the front and the same 6x9's in the rear.

thanks man. I just painted the wheels the other day myself. Go get some 200 grit sand paper,a scuff pad and some Wheel paint. it took me a while but i think it was worth it. It cost me around 20-30 buck and made my wheels look brand new. Just dont paint your center caps and it will look clean... haha i have seen it done and its no good
