This is my 1971 240Z. I bought it 6/10/2009 for $500. It does have some rust - a few spots in the floors, lower front fenders, dog legs, A pillars, hatch sill - all the usual places, except for one obscure place with is the B pillar where the roof transitions to the rear quarter panel. The catch is that this area is filled with lead, and the rust is under the lead, which will have to be melted out, metal replaced, and the area refilled with a lead filler substitute. Overall it's pretty solid considering it's been an east coast car for 10 years or more. It was originally an Arizona car. Anyway, I'm not too sure what I want to do with it in the long run, but for now, it's getting the L28 and 5spd that I got from my 280Z. It came with a few suspension upgrades (springs, sways, struts), and is otherwise relatively stock. It came as a roller, and is missing the dash, center console, engine, radiator, and some other things. No problem, as I have most of the parts to make it complete again. BTW, if anyone has a series 1 dashboard, center console, or wiring harness from a 240z built from about 10/70 to 12/70 you'd be willing to sell, let me know.
Okay, anyway, here's some pics.
