reducing BOSE sub rattle
i know we can never completely remove the rattle since it is a bad design. i dynamated the rear deck a few weeks ago and that made some diffirence.
well it was still rattling. so i stuck my head into the trunk from the rear seat to listen for the rattles and i discovered two things.
i fixed them and reduced most of mine. before anyone comments, yes it is a ghetto fix. but you cant see them and it fixed the problem
1st thing
the place where the child seat connects to the rear deck. the piece of metal hits the plastic cover. so i stuck a piece of cloth between the two as a buffer. it also presses the rear deck cover down

2nd thing
the trunk lid. it is completely hollow!! it isnt really a cause of rattle but it amplifies the rattle. to see what i mean open the trunk and bang the trunk lid. it sounds like those big chinese gongs!!
so i stuck a butt load of old shirts in the holes and pushed them into all the corners. i think i used 20+ shirts
