If you've looked at my other cars you'd notice I had a thing for fords, not my intention it just kind of happen that way. I had 0 Respect for the ZX2 before I ever drove one. To make a long story short, I lost everything in March of 09. My 02 Explorer, My Job and all of my savings and to top it off a “Friend". So I found myself with what money I had left to get a cheap, dependable car that was sporty to extent &  that I could but some work into at a later date. I went to a few local Car lots here in Lewisville, Tx and found myself seating in a 2000 ZX2, The first time I took for a test drive I was amazed at how quick she would take off and how well she handled especially for having high miles. That next day I took all I had and bought the car, since then I have landed a Great Paying Job and Plan to do some personal touches. My Goal with this ZX2 is to make great looking, quick driving daily driver with a show car spirit. I realize this isn’t a GT Mustang however this is a quick 4 banger and anyone who owns one know what I’m talking about.

The ZX2 in my opinion is a good type of tuner car that has been over looked. It is powered by a 2.0L 16V DOHC Zetec engine with VCT (variable cam timing) on the exhaust cam. This motor puts out 130hp at 5750 rpm and 127 ft/ lbs. of torque at 4250 rpm. Its weight is 3375 lbs. The add ons and mods that can be made to this car are endless.

i got eibach sport springs on my car nd they work pretty fine but the pacesetter exhaust has a pretty nice tone to it i used ta have one nd it turned out alrite but it wasnt too loud so it was good nd had a nice tone to it. but dnt get tha pacesetter header i had ta go thru 3 sets of em cuz they kept on crackin nd gettin leaks. but other than that id go with a custom exhaust tha one i have sounds just rite. its kind of like tha apexi n1 muffler but different i believe its called topspeed but you can get em from an overspeed shop nd i went ta meineke or however ya spell it nd got a 2 1/4 inch pipe all tha way its pretty nice it doesnt have that weedeater sound to it..
