So, the 92 vr4 spun a bearing and I spent all my money on this one. Its a 94 3000gt VR4, for those that dont know.
Here's the storiie:
Bought the car in April, found out 3 days later that it had a hole the size of the grand canyon i nthe tranny. For those again, that dont know; this car has a 6 speed GETRAG transmission, therefore the finding of and pricing of were very difficult. $2000 dollars later, replaced my tranny and all was well =]
A month later, spun a bearing. Again. However, this time I decided to go for an epic build. FTW! Here's the stat.'s on that.
3.1L short block with forged Ross pistons, custom rings/pins, clevite bearings, and Oliver connecting rods; - at the machine shop
-Stage 3 heads with Ferrea intake/exhaust valves, ported and polished, 1mm over, with titanium springs/retainers- at the machine shop
-Turbo setup is still being debated;
-Currently have CX front mount intercooler - upgraded from stock side mount intercoolers
-AEM Wideband UEGO
-Fuel system still being debated;
-EMS - either AEM or Greddy EManage Ultimate
Driveline- supporting transmission pieces, possibly 1 or 2 piece carbon fiber driveshaft. -pending.
