Being that there is no Badge Bar available for the 1500, I attempted to make my own. It is made out of 1 inch diameter aluminum pipe, and is about 16 inches long. It can easily be mounted to the bumper.  The badge pictured on the left is the BMC insignia used between 1952-68.  The badge pictured on the right is the MGCC insignia. Nemas2's 1977 MG Midget

In the almost three years I have had the car, my wife and I have done the following work ourselves:
Installed stainless steal exhaust
Replaced stater
Replaced windshield
Replaced rear leaf springs and bushings
Replaced tie rod ends
Restored top frame / replaced top and boot cover
Removed auto choke/ Installed manual choke
Replaced oil & temp gauge, including temperature sending unit
Repaired fuel gauge / replaced voltage stabilizer
Rebuilt and maintain original Zenith Stromberg Carburetor
Cleaned/etched/painted gas tank / replaced sending unit
Detailed engine bay
Completed engine tune-up
Painted Rostyle wheels and installed trim rings
Swapped steering wheel with 74
Replaced carpet in cockpit
Installed carpet and spare tire cover in trunk
Installed aluminum doorsill plates
Installed new Euro registration plate and replaced insignias all around
Replaced all side and rear mirrors
Replaced Headlights
Restored original AM/FM radio and speaker

Received outside help for:
Installed Engine mounts
