98dailydriver's 1998 Chevrolet Corvette98dailydriver's 1998 Chevrolet Corvette     1st things 1st.  This is a daily driver .  I keep it as clean as possible but i am not your every day corvette owner.  I actualy drive mine in the rain ..lol  Just kid'n everyone.    Here is a pic of the front end i recently changed out the old flip up headlights with these hid twin projector headlights.  I also shaved off all the c5 emblems and had the car repainted..Again...   The paint job is hard to see in the pics but its black with blue pearl.98dailydriver's 1998 Chevrolet Corvette

Here is a far pic just showing off my new chorme zr1"blue devil" wheels98dailydriver's 1998 Chevrolet CorvetteClose up pic of the front wheel and tire.  Yes the brakes have been upgraded and the calibers were painted a ceramic black .98dailydriver's 1998 Chevrolet CorvetteClose up on the New projector headlights.   I like them alot more than the stock flip ups at night but during the day i still feel like nothing looks better that the factory lights down!!!  Maybe one day i can have a custom head made with no lights..lol  till then these will do just fine.   They are alot more bright than the flip ups ..but they should be since they are hid right?   The install was a little bit of a pain in the ###  remove the front bumper and iner wheel wells...yea like a 2 and a half hour job.

thanks for your comments on my vert. appreciate them. yours is very nice for a DD. to answer your questions: my motor swap was about 35K all said and done. its a MTI Z07 package (you can google that). The tuning was done by Doug Rippie Motorsports, they are local to me, Doug knows 427's like the back of his hand. tuning took only about 45min. runs like a champ! It is not difficult to tune any 97-98, you just need a competant tuner. if you want to build a bad ass motor, go for a 402 or 408 stroker, forged everything with 8.x:1 compression, then slap some twins on it and say hello to 1000+rwhp! but, this all costs triple what your car is worth, so be careful with what you're getting into. you could just put some twins on ur stock motor and make 500+rwhp. depends on how crazy you want to go. good luck!
