After several electrical/ECU issues, and the desire for a better matched heads/cam combination, the engine was taken to Self Racing in Durant, Oklahoma and rebuilt with a complete new forged rotating assembly. We kept the stock 1972 oval port heads, ported them with 2.19/1.88 valves, installed a Comp hydraulic roller cam, a Weiand Stealth intake, and a Demon 850 carb.
