This is my 1985 Ramcharger Royal SE 150 and its got a 5.9 360 with a 4 barrel carburator. Needs a lil work but not a bad project truck, Im looking to fix up for a toy to ride round in. I wanna really turn some heads so let me know if you have any suggestions. I gota get the power windows fixed, cd player needs rewired.

Well i got it tagged and insured, right now its in the shop getting a tune up and new brakes all the way around.

Due to me loosing my job i decied to not go as big as i planned and buying used tires and wheels.

So my ideas for now are:

Suspension- 5" superlift with 35x12.50x16 thornbirds that i got for a $100... 16x10 chrome pro comp wheels that i got for $125... I got the wheels and tires just need to get lift

Engine- Clean up under the hood and the engine, k&n air filter, headers, mild cam, and chrome it out a little

Audio- I wanna get a new deck, all new door speakers but nothing fancy

Exterior- Paint rear bumper chrome, repaint all the trim and grill chrome, push bar with lights, tint windows 5%, 5" exhaust tips 45 degree with true duals high flow cats no muffler, paint and rubberize underneath, and eventually repaint it dark blue

Its a work in progress but its coming along slowly, and once i find another job she will be sick

Hey man! I have the rough country 6 inch lift, but the whole deal with mine is that when I went bigger, I put dana 60s under it. so the brake lines were alil longer and my drive shafts worked because the 60s diff were long, so it pushed the yoke out. also, i made my own steering block form solid steel. and made my own sway bar brakets too, so it pretty much just cost me the lift.

yeah man if i were to do this again i would do all the big lift and tires cuz as you can see with mine i did the 5.5" lift and 35x15.50's with 4.10's and then was still not satisfied but hey thats just my opinion bro good luck with truck man hope to see it around town

thanks man killer dakota too nice to see someone else using there 4wheel drive lol. If i was to suggest anything i would first have to figure out what you were looking to do with the truck? My opinion if your gonna go mudding and all an 8" lift with some 36's would be fun, considering that wide of a tire you might wanna get some gearing done and even consider some upgraded axles with a lower gear like 4.56's or 5.13's. Depending on how often you want to drive it on the road is gonna be a big deal too considering your already dealing with the cops but these Rams can keep a wide tire tucked under better than that dakota hope this helps, keep us up dated bud.
