Traded in 11/2/2009

had to trade it in do to a shop call metro 25 put dimples so bad in the driveshaft that when they replaced the ujoints (they put the driveshaft in a vise) what were they thinking??? so it threw the driveshaft out of balance. then i took it back to them several times everytime to get the answer theres nothing we can find wrong with it. then they wanted to rebuild the rear end and throw a new seal on the transmission because at this point I was starting to leak transmission fluid. it got so bad that it got low and started burning fluid. then the bushings were torn to **** and the torque convertor was fucked and I was loosing a 1/2 quart of trans fluid every hour and a half of driving and that was with babying this transmission. so my recomendation never take you truck here! its sad I bought the truck with 65,454 miles on it and had to trade it in with 68,231 miles. it still had a hobble to it after I bought the new/used driveshaft for it. and that driveshaft was balanced so I cant think that caused anything.

check out my 2005 GTP!

check tires to see if balance right or u could have a bad pin bearing but you can buy a rear end from a junk yard for less than that or a wrecked truck for parts

No it was actually really easy. You have to cut a slice off the lower control arm and cut off some rivets but other than that no big deal. It does slow it down a little bit but honestly it's no sweat. It coust be like 1700 including tires, wheels, mount and balance, alignment, and the kit. It took me 2 days because I had work that night so I'd set aside a weekend to do it.
