This is my 2004 Pontiac Aztek AWD

I just bought it in June 2009, only 60k miles and one owner, it was in great shape at a great price.

This were the pics from the AutoTrader Ad:

It came with 17" wheels, 4 wheel disc brakes and a home made roof rack. Has XM Satellite radio but no premium sound package.

Making it look like an SUV

You know this crossover is based on the minivan plattform, but being AWD and not having sliding doors makes it more like an SUV, so one of the first things to change was the look to make it stand appart from the other Azteks.

I added a couple fog lamps to the roof rack, I'll ad an extra pair in yellow probably next week.

I also painted the brake calipers red, I just can't stand the color of rusted metal of a non painted caliper (I do that to all my cars)

Making it sound like an SUV

Also, I'm used to driving my Vette and SVX where you can actually hear the engine, so I had to replace the stock exhaust for a basic Flowmaster 40 Series just to give it a more decent engine sound.

I also added a chrome exhaust tip because the ugly pipe in the back just looks wrong. It sounds ok, nothing too loud, just a deeper throaty sound, very civililzed. Of course, the 3400 V6 isn't going to sound any wild tho. But at least I can hear my RPM's without having to watch the tach ever time.

The interior is ok so far, probably I'll color match the console trim to the car's paint, but other than that I'll leave the interior alone for a while.

The next mods:

2" to 3" lift, all terrain tires, maybe 16" wheels for a wider/thicker tire and pressure monitors.

Cold air intake and ram air.

Yellow fog lights on roof rack.

Roof basket

Xenon Headlights.

Maybe blacked out tailights (not sure yet)

Drilled and slotted brake rotors

Here some extra pics before the little mods.

This will be 2F Performance's official vehicle to transport product, so I might add some graphics later.

Please read before leaving a comment.

I really apreciate all of your comments, but please don't comment just so I go and vote for your ride.

Don't tell me you gave me 5 stars, that's not going to make me go and give you 5 stars. I'll rate your car according to what it deserves and I expect the same. Don't give my car 5 stars if it doesn't deserve them . If there's nothing special about your car I won't give you 5 stars, and if you want me to give you a comment, I'll give you my most sincere opinion. If I say something negative about your car it won't be to hate, but to point that you can do something better to improve your vehicle, it's all Constructive Criticism. ( This goes specially to that guy that goes and copy/paste the same comment on everybody's car on CarDomain and saying that he gave you 5 stars even if your car is completely unmodified or has flaws like he really cares/likes your ride , but he only wants you to go rate him with 5 stars... you know who I'm talking about)

At the same time I'll only accept constructive critics and will delete all hate comments. If you leave a comment I'll be more than glad to visit your ride and leave you a comment too and rate but don't expect 5 stars if your car only has custom wheels or an aftermarket stereo. All stock/unmodified vehicles won't be rated unless they are restorations or classics or very rare cars. A 5 star car should have nice wheels, nice interior work, some performance mods (if it is a performance oriented car)

Thanks for watching and please rate my rides at your own discretion.
