I drug the old beast to my shop, started tearing into it. Once I hooked a fuel pump to it(with a gas can), the engine fired off the first time. Its sounds good, not ticky(amazing for a jeep) but needs injectors bad. I'm started in the resto on it cause I just want something nice to drive. I'm basically making this into a Comanchee Chief, the cherokee is and I'm stealing its dash and front clip.

After cleaning the pile of crap in the bed, and fixing the rust holes in the floor. The overall truck was very rust free, but the windows were broken and it sat 2-3 years with wet carpet, so the floor was a little crunchy.

Its really funny with the missing bed!! XD

I'm painting the underside gloss black, and the engine too. I'm swaping the axles next, but my have to modify the rear springs to fit the Cherokee leafs. I'm down right lucky there was 2 trucks, cause this one's only benefit is it runs!! I guess I'll keep the Jeep wheels, since all the explorer wheels in the yard are gone. I need some rubber, a set of 235/70 r15 super sports should do the trick, and once I get the rear window I can start on the interior. A quiet muffler, axles, brakes, prop shafts, fuel pump, steering column, seats, A/C, swap the body parts, and a nice sheen of silver to make a nice lil truck!!
