I baught this orange 1973 Bmw 2002 in the summer of 2002 of August. I baught it for $450 in which i thaught it was a sweet deal. Later on in the winter i wanted to start working on it, assembling the parts i baught form http://www.bavauto.com. I realized that the whole frame and floor boards were rotted out and i literally slamed my foot through the boards. On the exterior the car looked great, a 1 year paint job, and the interior was excellent too.I decided to totally strip the car and sell it on ebay, i sold everything from the windows to the gauges. Everything was sold at unbelieveable prices, in which i made over $3000 off the whole car including the parts i baught for it.In my opinion this was the greatest profit i ever made. Then the only thing that remained was the body of the car, we rented a trailer and took it to the nearest junkyard where the car was made into a Japanees car. LOL.Here are the before and after pics.
Here is what the car looked like when i purchased it in the summer of 2002!
Then here is the day we're taking the body to the junkyard after i sold everything on ebay in the summer of 2003!
Check out my other Vintage 1972 bimmer that i baught in the summer of 2003 out of the profit i made on this car!!!

this guy is full of crap. the first three pics of "his car" are actually my car which hasn't been junked. (she's a 1971 which is still running like a champ, with hardly any rust) he stole those pics from site that I posted them to or perhaps from the for sale listing from when i bought it. if you look closely you can just make out that this car has Massachusetts plates not California where his location is listed as being. also if you compare the wheels on the before and after they clearly aren't the same. ckf

You are a good bussinessman, but not a bimmer lover. Better you play lottery to make money. I hate you.

Frame rails and floorboards, very expensive to replace. Sacrificing one to save the many! I'll be doing the same thing as a business here in N.E, Ohio
