Seeking a sinister-looking car, I fell for this specific model and year, especially for the front. Runner ups included a '73 Imperial, the longest car ever mass- produced. But to achieve the look I wanted, this model had much better lines.
The car's gangster style definitely turns alot of heads. I also like its 460 cubic inches of low-pitched Detroit muscle.
This front grille is unique to 1970. I used to shun this model because I only found pictures with the headlight doors closed... until one day I ran across a picture like this, showing just how much meaner it can look.
I've kept the OEM steel wheels and gave them a flat black paint job, thus helping to provide the car's current (and intentional) lusterless style of dread and neglect.
Ditching the white sidewall tires and removing all trim lines along the body emphasized the car's size and gave it a monolithic shape. The roof also received some well needed blackness.
I really like this fat bulky rear-end. The tail lights are from the 1973 model, but they look somewhat better imho.

Upcoming mods on the car include:
-Tinted windows;
-New short springs, lowering the car only slightly (2 inches);
-Baby moons (maybe!);

Also considered:
-Wider tires (255-70/15);
-A flat black paint job;
Suggestions welcome!
