A short story of my MR2
I found that car in Germany (I'm from Lithuania). It was really derelict and the price was not high, so I decided to take it.
First of all I had to polish it, then I put 15" rims on it.
Next I needed more agressive rims. I decided to go with 17" ADR Spade. Cheap and quite good quality, I think. Just a little bit heavy...
Car was really high on those rims, so I must lower it. And I cut the springs... I know, that's bad, but I'm thinking of coils right now.
After that, I decided to repaint car. I chose red-pink with purple pearl.
And then... I don't really know. Some trivial things, like decals and etc...

2010/02/21: Winter slalom final. The champion of RWD


I was competeting for the big prize in final (every champion from his class(AWD RWD FWD Junior and Women) was competeting), but unfortunatly I hited one figure. If not that, I would have won the check for tires. Anyway, it was a great championship! You can see a video of a final ride here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=38qQTav1Ys0
2010/04/06: New custom exhaust
I decided to go with a one-muffler exhaust. The system now is: stock manifold, twisted rezonator and no-name muffler. When we made an exhaust with an old muffler, ater revving, all the stuff from the inside was spited off. So I bought another muffler and now it's completle done. Sounds quite good for me. 3S-GE to 3S-GE after repair SWAP
My old engine started to use oil more and more... So it was time for an engine change. I got a new (after rapair) 3s-ge from my cousin, who broken his 5gen Celica. I polished intake manifold, ported it a little bit, cleaned the engine and changed it.




2011 07 16: Replacing front suspension
My suspension is really tired so I decided to put it from MR2 turbo. Firstly, front. It took about 6-7 hours to replace it in a yard and with a couple of tools. I took it off together with a brake discs, because they are much better and also changed brake pads. Also tubby has adjustable caster arms, so now steering wheel is more responsive, but it became harder to turn (with no power steering). And here are some photos from work.
