This is a 1974 American Motors Matador Brougham Coupe. The car was factory equipped with a 401 V8 and a 4 speed manual transmission. This car is one of 5 1974 Matadors that came with the 401 engine…even less were sold with the manual transmission. This car has front and back sway bars, positive traction, a MSD ignition system, an isky cam, and a Heavy-duty 373 rear end. I will also send the 411 rear end. Many of the internal engine parts have been forged. The car has only been slightly modified from the way it came from the factory. The engine was rebuilt only a few thousand miles ago. I have also recently put new headers and a performance clutch on it, and I have also repainted it with the original AMC black paint. It is in excellent condition.
