My New Project:  1955 Chevy Pickup!  

This is how it looked when I got it home last winter, was thinking of selling it but now I'm getting attached since I started to work on it!  its full of parts! the long boxes on front end are bed strips and a wood floor kit for the original bed.

this is a project truck from Arkansas and the old cab had some rust holes in the cab corners and they patched over top and used to much body filler on it. the floor pan and the steps had rusty pinholes so the cab was replaced with a rust free one from Nebraska and never completed! all this was done before I got it!  it has some parts missing and some extra parts too! it has a nice newer bed on it right now and I got the original bed too but its all apart! the original rear fenders bolt holes dont line up on the newer box so I think I'll use the original one. I have started to assemble and fit the parts together right and to see what parts I will need to buy.

 it allready has a Camaro subframe installed with power steering and disk brakes and I had a old tilt column out of a 64 Impala to use to keep the ignition switch on the dash like original, the other cab had a newer one with the key on the column. I just need the right steering shaft connector/u-joint so I can line it up and bolt it in!

I have a 350 chevy crate engine for it and a choice of Intake Manifolds that should look good in there!  not sure if one of my tri-power setups or that 6 duce setup will go on it!

so far I have the front fenders and inerfenders installed and lined up! the core support is next after I get the right shims and mounts for it. its just has two bolts started to hold it there!
