Welcome to my 1991 MR2 NA to turbo conversion project page. Originally powered by a 5SFE when purchased; I've since swapped in a JDM 3SGTE (Turbo 2.0).
Other performance mods include: Intake, custom intercooler w/ SPAL fan, ACT clutch, TRD 6 point strut brace, TRD thermostat, cross-drilled and slotted rotors, JDM Tanabe exhaust and a 2" drop.
I have very specific tastes when it comes to cars. I like clean and tasteful exterior mods, but performance almost always takes precedence. As such, my vehicle has no sound system, air conditioning, cruise control or power steering. Additionally, the car is on a NA chassis so it doesn't have other weight-adding features found on its turbo counterpart (such as fog lights).
Keeping my philosophy in mind, the exterior is nearly stock. I've added JDM 94+ (kouki) tail lights, painted the car a color only found on JDM MR2's and it rides on JDM 16" staggered Sparco's.
Interior mods include a custom a-pillar gauge pod, Razo shift knob, Razo carbon fiber pedals and Momo steering wheel.
