This is Fredd: He is a Toyota Celica Z- R J-spec Automatic 3S-FE.

I have owned the car for about 3 years, in which time the car has transformed in many ways, not in the sense of Ricey/tacky body kits and cheap equipment. Its more of a restoration project, even thought the car has always been in fantastic condition. The pictures below are from when I had recently bought the car. I had removed some of the badges, and generally given the whole car a deep clean. I enjoy spending time on the car, weather it be something trivial or important.

Since taking owner ship of the car, there have not been any major mechanical errors, only one of which is the dreaded heater matrix. Which is a complete dash out job to repair. I have repaired the retractable mirrors with a sourced pair from Ebay... Simple mechanism replacement was needed and job done. I have since installed the Face-Lift tail lights, Pre-facelift front fogs and installed the System 10 Audio option.

I spend many hours on the cars aesthetic presence, I have completely removed the interior and shampooed it with a rug/carpet cleaner (TWICE). I have removed the wheels to really get into the arch lining to give it a deep clean. My annual mileage is very limited, however during winter months the car is not given that much attention, due the weather.

I am avid Maguire's user, This however, is only half my collection as that was taken some time ago.

My next task is attempting to get the A/C to work again, I am under the impression that all I need is the A/C compressor + A/C matrix unit and refrigerant hose. Now as the system uses an illegal gas (R12), I have been told that I can use R409, which acts as an interim gas, however more suitable than R13a which in time corrodes the seals.

Future Plans:

I am also currently seeking a face-lift bumper + fogs with GT4 Bonnet. I am planning on getting my O.Z rims chrome plated in the near by future + a medium black smoke window tint. I have a contact at Celica-Club which is in the process of sending me some clear front + side repeaters. I have the JDM number plate aperture installed on the front of the car, however, I am still using the standard UK style one... this is on my to-do list.

Other items on that list include:

"Personall steering wheel"

Re trim leather interior + Headlining

Install new Sound system (Focal speakers + Lanzar amp with alpine head unit )

Remove 120mph limiter and change 120mph clock face with a 180mph one.

That's about it for the time being, there are some very small items for the interior that still need replacing too however at this moment in time are not essential.

Andersen Knight Wrote: "any plan for future mods" Not really bro, just trying to keep the car stock, yet tastefully enhanced at the same time.
