This is my 1990 Lada Niva "Oregon" which I owned while living in France. It was incredibly slow with a top speed of only 70 MPH (110 KPH) which made getting out in the passing lane in Germany not too much fun. Built like a tank, we had two accidents with it which resulting in no damage to the Lada but substantial bent sheet metal in the other vehicle. It didn't have any power steering either, which made it next to impossible to parallel park and came with a hand crank (!) for those cold Siberian winter days. Sadly missed.
