UPDATES:

9/09/09: Sadly for reasons of personal stuff. The car has been sold.

8/3/09: More bodywork has been done. More pictures on page 2.

6/21/09: Interior is ripped out and whole floor is needing to be replaced.

6/18/09: Interior page is UP!...

6/15/09: Got a second page up, it's of my progress with the outside of the car! ENJOY!

-Interior still coming soon!-

-----

The Shift cable somehow broke, when looking under the car at the cable I noticed a rust hole in the floorboard under the driverside carpet.

The Turn signals don't work, so I took the gauge out to look at the wiring behind them and noticed that for the most part, the Dash harness is unmolested, meaning I will only need to replace the Headlight and Taillight harnesses.

Pictures of the interior will be posted soon

INTRODUCTION:

This is my car. It's a 1968 Mustang Coupe. I bought the car for $ 1600 flat and I love it... Though fixing it up I can see might turn into a love hate relationship.

The car originally came with a 286 V8... But somewhere down the line it got swapped out for a 1971 302 V8

Aparently these are Appliance Rims... or so I've been told.

And as well, hidden behind those front wheels are disk brakes that aparently was a custom job Woo hoo for me!... The car does run well. It has true duels all the way back. The Interior needs to be completely redone and the wireing needs fixing... BUT... I love my car...

I love the 68's. I'll definitely keep an eye on your progress. I'm restoring a 70 coupe. It was in about the same shape when I got it. I'm almost ready to paint now. Check it out and let me know what you think.

i love when cars look like that. if it were me i'd just make sure it ran like a dream, than maybe wash it. than leave it...but i'm pretty weird. haha
