This is my 69' that I got for $300, can you believe it! And yes it runs! My cousin found it for me after it sat for 5 years.  Now I have it and I'm gonna treat it right.  Its getting all new gaskets, motor mounts, plugs, wires, motor paint, and a few other general maintenance. It actually had the can of paint from its last paint job in the back seat.  Crazy.  Stay tuned for the next set of pics.

slack_67's 1969 Volkswagen Beetle It's got a little damage on the front cowel.

slack_67's 1969 Volkswagen Beetle Side Shot.  Could you tell it's gotta sun roof.

slack_67's 1969 Volkswagen Beetle Also, a little sumthin on the rear pass. fender.  Not sure about that rear cowel though, it's stumping my cousin too.  It's got a weird shape.slack_67's 1969 Volkswagen Beetle A shot of the engine bay.

slack_67's 1969 Volkswagen Beetle Low back Seats! A little wear on the drivers seat.

slack_67's 1969 Volkswagen Beetle More of the interior.  No back bottom but thats ok, the whole car was only $300.

Well, I found a back bottom and some other jewels at the junk yard.  I also found out that at idle runs perfect but I got a block somewhere in the fuel line and it starves for fuel.

I put in a complete new fuel hard line from front to back, I utilized the holes in the front floor next to the brake master cylinder and snaked it around the undercarraige following the center hump, in the rear I took it all the way to the rear fire wall up about a foot and put a bend to make it more acessable. Now it runs lie the dickens.  I'll have pictures shortly so stay tuned.

Oh yeah I did know that you could "try" to clean the original fuel rail, and tried that to no avail so I decided to go 100% new.

Also, Built a speaker box to hold my dual 500watt 12"s.  I'm gonna need some plugs now. pics also to follow

Well kaefer, for now it's all about getting everything up to par. Then, I plan to lower it,and put in a sound system. After its at a decent place I of course plan on some upgrades, rims, tires, and some engine upgrades.
