Free Modifications:
Removing the beauty cover/noise reducer

You can see the cover in place and then in the last picture here you can see the piece below.

Loosen the outer bolts working your way to the center. Only remove the 4 long bolts in rear with the black brackets (8mm socket). Take the bracket out along with the bolts in the back. Then take off the 4 10mm studs that hold fuel rail and the one 8mm that touchs the 10mm on the drivers side. I did not unplug any electrical connections. Carefully take a long screwdriver and lightly pry up at the base of front injectors on both sides, then do the same at the rear. Otherwise you can lift up slowly until the injectors pop up attached to the fuel rail. Lift fuel rail enough to slide cover out the front. Torque all bolts 1st step 44in lb from center out and repeat 2nd step at 89in lb. which is about 7.4 foot pounds which is not much.
Factory bass modification:
You need to take the net off then unscrew the 4 pegs that hold the the net in place. Next lift up on the plasticethat goes across the trunk. Be carefull as it is brittle where the trunk latch area is and I imagine that it could break easily. Once you pop out the plastic piece pull out the trunk floor liner. Now that these parts are out of the way you will find a few plastic tabs that pull straight out. One of which is close to the subwoofer. Then just pull the material away to gain acces to he battery compartment. Now stick your hand under the amp and feel for the knob. You can turn each direction playing the music. You will know when you turn it the right way. Now just put everything back together and you are done. Hope the pics help you out.
