Ya so I love my Miata but it kept getting called Gay. I used to own a 1991 NSX with major body mods we did also and found a copy of photoshop.  Knowing my way around a GUI or two I made my own Miata body with pictures found throughout the internet.  This is what I got............ and five years later (Yes, this project started 5 years ago!) I am nearing completion. Ya, so back to my story......

I loved my Miata so much and envisioned it with a 5.0 Supercharged V8 conversion. (maybe a winter project?) However, the body just NEVER did it for me and after another car show and another Gay Miata comment I started this project.   Enjoy the photos and please comment on the progress. If you like it cool, if not I want to hear that also........... maybe I can make some minor changes along the way before I spray her.  BTW, the photo below is of me. Cheers mate~

a Miata MX-5 NA JR Supercharged 1.6L 44,xxx mile beautiful gem in the rough (currently)

HEAVY body modifications. Nothing fit in place. About 400 plus hours so far between 3 people and 5 years. Unfortunately, it was left outside in the grass during a rainy season and got some surface rust underneath. It was 100% cherry before that. =^(

FRONT:  Wizdom nose with 06 RX8 HID headlamps and GE LED's on the side.

SIDES: Everyday fender flares  for the wide body effect & wisdom side skirts.

REAR:  Valance is garage vary, spoiler is  simpson racing,  wisdom rear spoiler  and thinking bout  a center exit exhaust.

I will post more pics as I get em on new pages.

As of 11/7/2009 the body is done, need some tweaking on the rear bumper and then off for all the electronics and interior before being sprayed. =^)
