Hi im gary jr. I bought this 1999 f150 in 2009 for 5000 dollars from my grandfather. It is 2wd with a 4.2 liter v6 with only a little over 81000 miles on it. I have put some chrome pieces on it with matrix truck-tek tailights from summit racing. i put two 10 inch punch subwoofers with a 1000 watt amp in it. hey nice truck. as for the LED bad, i dont understand by what you said about "sanding it down". you take off the tailgate and there a lip that it sits on and has 5 super-strong 3M adhesive holding it on. also came with screws to mount it, but i stuck with the 3M (pun intended). it plugs into the 4-pin trailer reciever, but i hard-wired it into it so i can use my lightbar and trailer lights at the same time
