

Back in 1997, I bought this Bronco II as a daily driver with about 133k miles.

I sold it in 1999 for $3000 with roughly 180k miles. In the spring of '08 I was looking for a cheap vehicle that got better gas milage than my truck. I found an ad for a '89 Bronco II for $600, so I took a look at it. It was my old bronco. 5 months pass I finally had extra cash to buy it back for $300(had to). It needed work, mostly small stuff. Still runs as reliably as it did 10 yrs ago. The pics below show the transformation...
Its a stock 2.9 V6 5-spd with 220k miles currently. Never rebuilt as far as I can tell and only a new clutch put in 10 years ogo.

After ball joints & u-joints were replaced and 30 x 9.5 BFG AT's installed:
