Well here is what it looked like before i got my hands on it. a friend of mine gave it to me for nothing so i guess i can't complain. the guy sure knew how to hack it up though.

everything has been disassembled and sent out for media blasting. got everything back so time for some primer.

i had to get rid of the chevy small block that came in the truck so i bought this 1970 mustang coupe /w a 302. pulled the engine, and it's out at the machine shop.

got the newly rebuilt 302 back painted it up and threw on all of the goodies.

started working on getting all the new sheet metal on and boxing in the frame.

i finally found a new grill so i can bolt up the front clip now that the engine has been dropped in. bolted in the empty trans case to get an idea of clearance then sent it out for rebuild.

That is going to be an awesome truck. And I am glad to see the the damned GM Engine has gotten replaced with a REAL power plant! Five stars for all your hard work and money well spent.
